A state contest that rewards young people’s research ideas and provides grant funding for research and startup projects
“Bo‘lajak olim” (Future Scientist) is a state contest supporting talented young people in science and innovation by rewarding research ideas and funding research and startup projects.
Citizens of Uzbekistan aged 40 or under may take part, regardless of degree, title, position or workplace. An applicant is the young scientist who developed the idea or project and/or their team.
The contest is held at least once a year. The call — with the procedure, deadlines and requirements — is published on the Ministry’s official website at least one month before it opens.
A winner may not enter another contest in the same calendar year.
