01About the program

From an engineering idea to a working product

“Kelajak Muhandislari” (Future Engineers) is an acceleration program that supports the engineering ideas and startup projects of talented young people nationwide and takes them to a practical, commercially ready minimum viable product (MVP).

Training period 25 June – 29 August 2026
Venue Acceleration Center, INNO technopark
Format 2 groups × 20, 3 stages
Participants Young people aged 18–40
Demo Day 29 August 2026

Each participant had a dedicated computer, coworking space, advanced labs and production machines. Mentors, trackers and program managers worked on the projects in daily and weekly sprints.

The program was organized by the Youth Innovation Initiatives Support Office under Order No. 221 of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated 26 May 2026 and the Office Director’s Order No. 6 of 15 June.

Program principle

Real problem → real market → real product

Program objectives

  1. 01

Take selected projects to an early prototype and MVP

  2. 02

Help engineering startups take Hardware form — a physical device

  3. 03

Build technical, marketing, business planning and team management skills

  4. 04

Connect projects with investors, industry and public customers and put them into practice

Program timeline

  1. 26 May

    Minister’s order

Order No. 221 approved the acceleration program and its budget.

  2. 15 June

    Applications and selection

apply.yito.uz launched; 40 projects were selected from 212 applications.

  3. 25 June – 28 August

    Acceleration

Three stages: analysis and idea, production and MVP, commercialization.

  4. 29 August

    Demo Day

Teams defended their MVPs before judges, investors and industry.

Acceleration Center

From idea to industrial prototype — under one roof

A modern Acceleration Center was set up at the INNO technopark for the program: lab testing, production and mentoring sessions on one platform.

  1. 01

40 modern computers — A dedicated, fully equipped workstation for each participant.

  2. 02

Three functional zones — Work zone, coworking and the Demo Day stage.

  3. 03

Labs and machines — 3D printers, laser, CNC, lathe and welding equipment.

  4. 04

apply.yito.uz platform — Online intake and screening of applications.

02Selection

From 212 applications — 40 engineering projects

Applications were accepted only via the official platform and reviewed by a working group in two stages: technical review and content-based selection.

  1. 01 212 Applications Online via apply.yito.uz.
  2. 18,9% of applications 02 40 Admitted Selected on 100-point criteria.
  3. 87,5% 03 35 Reached MVP A working prototype was built.
  4. 82,9% 04 29 Finalists Final stage of the “Bo‘lajak olim” contest.

03Program path

Three stages — 60 days of practice

Each stage lasted 20 days. A study day combines manager check-ins, two mentor blocks and a sprint review with a tracker.
