From an engineering idea to international experience
The “Engineers of the Future” internship competition identifies authors of promising engineering work — ideas, projects or inventions — and sends them to train at leading centres in developed countries. Winners complete an internship of up to 60 days.
The competition is held on the instruction of the President and by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. Applications were accepted via muhandis.edu.uz and reviewed by a commission of representatives of ministries, agencies and research institutions.
It ran in two categories — students and university lecturers — and in two stages: a technical review of documents, followed by a presentation and defence before the commission.
