“Best Idea”, “Best Project” and “Best Invention” — a competition for students, lecturers and practising engineers, plus an international internship programme
Since the 2024/2025 academic year, the national “Best Idea”, “Best Project” and “Best Invention” engineering competitions are held every year.
Citizens of Uzbekistan aged up to 40 — students, lecturers and practising engineers — take part individually. Each track is judged separately in three categories.
An “Engineers of the Future” internship programme was also launched for authors of promising developments aged 20–40 with working foreign-language skills.
An idea proposing a new solution to an engineering problem
A developed project, prototype or software solution
A new technical solution — an invention
Each track is judged in three categories — students, practising engineers and lecturers — nine awards in total.
The competition ran in four stages: technical review, acceleration, final pitch and awards.
During acceleration, ideas, projects and inventions were refined technically, economically and scientifically. Pitches: 28 July — students, 29 July — lecturers, 30 July — practising engineers.
